Every Voice Counts in the West Midlands (EVCWM) is the regional empowerment partnership for those involved and interested in community engagement, participation and partnership working which can all lead to community empowerment.
The Partnership also has initiated a number of key pieces of work that have been identified as developing previous good practice, or piloting practice in a range of areas, to demonstrate the value of engaging, developing and empowering local communities.
The curent work streams appear under their own headings and include:
Active Learning:Active Citizenship
Community - based research
Guide Neighbourhoods
Empowerment showcasing events including promoting specific work such as Asset transfer and Participatory Budgeting.
The development of a forum made up of individuals, 'champions' of empowerment, wanting to participate in more practical ways to share experiences and learning about community development and empowerment.
