National Empowerment Partnership

The National Empowerment Partnership (NEP) is a partnership of organisations set up to improve the quality, co-ordination and evidence of community empowerment across England.

NEP works with a range of agencies and with local, regional and national government to centrally gather and communicate information about community empowerment practice and its impact.  It is supported by and works closely with Communities and Local Government (CLG), complementing and amplifying its empowerment policies and programmes including that of promoting the empowerment agenda across government departments.

During 2008 the NEP gathered together over 70 resources that will be of interest to anyone involved in community empowerment activities.

Some resources are generic and will be useful to you wherever you work in England, while others are regionally specific.

The link below will take you to the CDF website where you can click onto the National Empowerment Partnership pages and download those resources that might be of value to you.
